The report unit: Ember Console's plans count reports, not sessions
Ember Console's free plan runs four reports a month and Individual is $8 a month billed yearly. Both count reports, and whether a session makes one report is not stated.
Ember Console’s plans are priced by the report. The free plan runs four reports a month, at $0, with no card needed, and Ember Console is a session-report builder for coaches in closed beta.
You count sessions, because the session is what a client pays for. The plans count the document that comes out of the session. Call that the report unit. Nothing in Ember’s facts says that one session makes one report.
How much does Ember Console cost for coaches?
Three plans, as the pricing page read on 2026-10-05:
- Free: $0, forever, no card needed, four reports a month.
- Individual: $8 a month billed yearly, or $12 month to month.
- Professional: $18 a month billed yearly, or $22 month to month.
Individual includes unlimited use without Zoom transcripts, and unlimited templates, unlimited reports and team seats come with it. Professional adds Zoom transcripts, with a monthly credit for them. Top up credit above that credit is in development, with a waiting list and no price.
The free four do not run out. The pricing page says: “Four reports a month, free for as long as you like. No card, no countdown.”
Why is the report the unit, not the session?
Because a price has to attach to something countable, and Ember counts documents.
A coach’s unit is the session. ADDitude’s coaching survey put the median fee at $150 a visit, paid by the client out of pocket, and the invoice goes out one session at a time.
Ember’s unit is the report, and the word session appears in none of the three tiers.
So your session count for the month does not resolve into a report count, and I cannot resolve it for you from what is published. CoachAccountable’s pitch is that coaching results happen between sessions, and between-session work is where a second report comes from: a recap a client asked for, a section you rebuilt after they replied, a summary you wrote for a referrer.
The session is still the right unit for the rest of your practice. It is what you sell and what you schedule. It is just not what a plan counts.
What is not stated yet?
Four reports a month is the allowance. What a report counts as, I have not written down.
Whether a recording that never becomes a document counts. Whether rebuilding a report you already sent counts a second time. What the month runs from, and what happens at the fifth report inside one of those months. And whether anything costs extra per report above Individual.
Those four answers are mine to write, and they are on my list.
If the free allowance already looks wrong for the way you work, the one-minute no is the faster read.
Count one month of your own reports before you pick a plan, because that is the number the plans answer.
Questions people ask next?
Is there a free AI note taker for coaches?
Ember Console’s free plan costs $0, needs no card, and runs four reports a month with “API & MCP, connects to any AI”. Every plan “keeps your letterhead, exports to PDF or Word, and your data stays yours”.
What happens after the fourth free report?
Individual costs $8 a month billed yearly, or $12 month to month, and it lifts the report count to unlimited. What happens at a fifth report inside a free month is not stated, so do not build a month around it.
Does Ember Console charge per session?
The three tiers price reports, not sessions. Free allows four reports a month, and the two paid plans allow unlimited reports. Whether any per-report cost exists above Individual is not stated.
Ember Console is a session-report builder for coaches, in closed beta at $8 a month billed yearly with 4 free reports a month: https://ember.anyeads.com/. There is nothing to sign up for yet.
